Role & Responsibilities @ Reel

I am Head of Trading and Flexibility, meaning that I am responsible for buying and selling our energy in wholesale markets, as well as forecasting the production from our PPAs and the consumption from our customers. I am also involved in product development, working closely with the commercial team and our customers.

Educational background

I studied Sustainable Energy Engineering at DTU and Thermo-mechanical Engineering at Padova University in Italy, but ended up personalizing my education a bit and specializing in data science applied to energy markets.

Previous experience

After graduating in 2016 I worked for Ørsted until April 2024. At Ørsted I worked in different areas of the business starting in demand forecasting before moving to Finance and finally the trading organization. Within that I managed two teams of data scientists and programmers working on analytics and forecasting applied to short-term markets and automated trading strategies.
