Transaction Manager (PPA originator)
Join Reel as Transaction Manager to accelerate the renewable energy transition.
In A Nutshell
Reel is on a mission to build Europe's leading renewable energy platform by solving one of the major challenges of the green transition: connecting renewable supply with corporate demand. We're building the commercial category leader in renewable electricity supply and asset monetization, backed by leading investors and expanding rapidly across Europe.
As Transaction Manager, you will join our Power Solutions team. We promise you will learn fast, grow into ownership quickly, and contribute directly to building the origination engine that powers Reel's next phase of growth.
How You Can Contribute
We are looking for a Transaction Manager who will play a hands-on role in Reel's PPA origination — supporting the full lifecycle from identifying and qualifying opportunities to structuring and closing deals alongside our senior team.
You'll develop your presence in the developer and financing community, working closely with our Head of Power Solutions and trading team.
What You Will Work On
Identify and engage renewable developers to maintain a steady project pipeline
Participate in PPA negotiations and support transaction execution
Assess project maturity, economics, and risk profiles
Structure commercially sound agreements aligned with pricing and risk frameworks
Contribute to pricing analyses and maintain internal PPA templates
Conduct financial modelling and commercial term reviews
Assess counterparty and project risks and prepare approval documentation
Build and maintain relationships with renewable developers
Support outreach in Denmark and selected European markets
Participate in industry events to strengthen market presence
How You Can Thrive In This Role
Our ideal candidate combines several (not necessarily all) of the following:
1–4 years of transactional experience with PPAs, balancing agreements, and related contracts — or a demonstrable desire to develop this expertise quickly
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
Comfortable working with contract drafting, mark-ups, and financial analysis
Detail-oriented, and comfortable solving problems when the full picture isn't clear
Confident communicator, written and verbal, with good commercial instincts
Comfortable building relationships with developers and representing Reel professionally
Curious about structuring commercial terms and eager to develop your negotiation skills
Fluency in Danish and/or German is a plus
As a person, you:
Enjoy taking initiative without waiting for perfect instructions
Are kind and curious by nature, and know that building something extraordinary with others requires mutual trust and care
About Reel
Reel is building Europe's leading renewable energy platform, solving one of the biggest problems in today's energy markets: matching renewable supply with corporate demand. We're creating a new category by combining renewable energy optimization and electricity supply.
We rethink electricity from first principles to accelerate the shift to a carbon-free energy system — closing the gap between renewable producers and corporate consumers by enabling companies to increase the value of renewable energy, move beyond 'green claims', and achieve verifiable carbon reductions.
Positioned to capture a multi-billion-euro opportunity, Reel is building the commercial category leader in renewable electricity supply and asset monetization. We're backed by leading international investors and expanding rapidly across Europe.
We are a multi-disciplinary team of builders, operators, deal drivers, and climate experts — united by a kindness-first culture and on a shared mission to create Europe's leading platform for renewable energy.
