Role & Responsibilities @ Reel
- In my role I am very involved in all commercial processes at Reel. My number one focus is to strengthen our sales efforts, and close new deals. It is extremely important to me, to have a great balance between hands-on sales, and the ability to take the helicopter view, and implement improvements to our sales playbook, our commercial offering, our value propositions etc.
Educational background
- I have a Master’s Degree in Business Innovation from Singapore Management University. Prior to that, I did a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business.
Previous experience
- Prior to joining Reel, I was the Danish Country Manager at Klarna, a Swedish Fintech (payments and shopping solutions) where I was in charge of the Danish sales office. Our core focus was to strengthen the relationship, and sell our services into the top50 Danish e-commerce businesses. Before that I worked for both ECCO and Daniel Wellington, where I scaled their businesses in Asia, both through expanding own operations and entering into strategic B2B partnerships. I lived abroad for 13 years, as I was expatriated in my previous jobs.
⚡️ Why Reel
It was a clear ambition for me to join an early stage start-up. The focus on driving the green transition, and the ability to make a positive impact through my work also played a big role. After meeting with Anders, Jon and Christian, it was clear to me that I would be able to learn a lot in this company, while being able to contribute to the future success with my commercial background.
