Role & Responsibilities @ Reel

  • Co-founder and CEO. Leads strategic and organizational growth, fosters relationships with energy developers, oversees the development of our legal and contractual structures, and engages in commercial activities with major corporate clients.

Educational background

  • BSc and MSc Environmental Engineering, The Technical University of Denmark
  • Semesters abroad at University of British Columbia, Canada and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea.

Previous experience

  • Previously, I founded a company in the wholesale sector. I served as its CEO for half a decade, transitioning later to a board role. My primary focus was on international sales, key account management of large international partners, and negotiating and maintaining exclusive distribution deals with leading global brands.
  • Research in environmental impact assessment of energy systems, specialised in consequential modeling of procurement choices. This research laid the groundwork for Reel's approach to assessing climate impacts of electricity supply and procurement.

I love building and growing companies. I am a passionate climate advocate at heart, and an environmental engineer specialized in energy by training. Reel is the culmination of all these facets.

About Reel

Reel is creating a new way of buying electricity to accelerate the renewable energy transition. We are on a mission to empower companies to make a positive difference for climate through the electricity they buy. Reel enables all companies to enter a new type of electricity contract (Power Purchase Agreement) that reduces CO₂ emissions by adding new renewable electricity to the grid.
